Saxophone 1.1 is the first CD from my electric jazz project Somewhere off Jazz Street. The music features a saxophone sound made in the computer but played from a keyboard. The core instruments, the saxophone, bass and drums, are augmented by cello, piano, sound effects and voice samples, all created in the computer. While the music doesn't fit in any one genre, it touches on modal jazz, nu-jazz, electronica and rock styles.
